2. What we collect
When you book or contact us (including via our contact form):
- Your name, email address, phone number, and home address (needed for mobile appointments)
- Details about your pet (name, breed, age, size, health and behavioural information)
- Booking history, grooming and training notes
When you pay:
- Where you pay by card, payment is handled by our card payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details; we receive confirmation of payment and a transaction reference.
When you browse our website:
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information
- Usage data collected via cookies and analytics tools (see section 7)
If you opt in to marketing:
- Your email address and marketing preferences
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18; our services are aimed at pet owners who are adults.

*Notes about your pet may indirectly reveal information about you; we keep such notes to what is necessary for safe grooming and training.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Card payment providers to take payment
- Website hosting and email providers that operate our website and email
- Analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics), where you consent to cookies
- Professional advisers (e.g. accountant) where necessary
- Authorities where required by law
These providers act under contracts that require them to protect your data.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers (e.g. Google) may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations or approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement / standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep your data
- Booking and client records: 3 years after your last appointment
- Financial records: 6 years after the end of the tax year, as required by HMRC
- Enquiries that don't lead to a booking: 12 months
- Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe or after 2 years of inactivity
After these periods, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
7. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to work, including spam protection on our contact form (no consent needed)
- Analytics cookies — e.g. Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site
- Marketing cookies — e.g. the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to measure and improve our advertising
